Currently 9 years old, he began studying piano at the Vila do Conde Conservatory of Music, Theatre and Dance at the age of 3, under the guidance of Professor Nuno Oliveira.
He has participated in several national and international competitions, having been awarded 23 first prizes.
He has performed in various venues, including the Pequeno Auditório of Teatro Rivoli, the Museu Romântico do Porto, Casa Comum of the Rectory of the University of Porto, the Grand Hall of the Porto Court of Appeal, the “Pavillon de la Sirène” in Paris, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York, and the Gothic Hall of the Brussels City Hall, where he performed in the presence of Prince Laurent of Belgium.
Recently, he took part in the Winners’ Concert of the 3rd Margarida Magalhães de Sousa Competition at Teatro Micaelense in Ponta Delgada, broadcast on RTP Açores.
At the age of 8, he made his orchestral debut at the Vila do Conde Municipal Theatre, performing a Haydn Concertino.
He has attended several masterclasses with renowned pianists, including Sofia Lourenço, Sérgio de A., Paulo Oliveira, Luís Costa, Javier Otero Neira, Manuel Araújo, Jean Dubé, Vera Fonte, Pedro Emanuel Pereira, Elsa Silva, Rafael Kyrychenko, Luís Pipa, and Maria João Pires.
In this commented recital, he invites the audience to journey through the history of piano music, from the elegance of the Baroque period to the bold sonorities of contemporary music. Throughout the concert, works from different eras and styles will be performed, revealing the evolution of musical language and the expressive possibilities of the instrument.
Beyond the musical performance, this recital is also a moment of discovery and closeness with the composers. Between pieces, brief comments will be shared about each composer’s life and artistic journey, along with curiosities, key episodes, and historical contexts, helping the audience better understand the music and the creative universe behind each work.
