This year, the Youth Service of Vila do Conde Municipal Council is promoting the second cycle of Environmental Workshops, in partnership with the environmental association RE.UNE, with the aim of encouraging reuse and sustainability.

Held monthly at Vila Jovem, these workshops combine creativity and hands-on activities, bringing the principles of the circular economy closer to participants’ everyday lives.

The next workshop will take place on 19 September, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Vila Jovem, located in the Municipal Youth Centre. The theme will be “Eco Paperweights”, inviting participants to create original and practical pieces using reused materials.

The activity aims to encourage creativity, reduce waste and raise awareness of the importance of sustainability by transforming materials into useful objects for everyday life.
