Throughout the exhibition route, participants will be able to discover the relationships between the different artistic disciplines present in the work of Júlio—painting, drawing, poetry, dance, and music—in an approach that highlights the transversal and sensory nature of his creation. The visit will also provide context for some of the most emblematic pieces in the exhibition, including rarely displayed works and objects from the artist’s studio.
Curated by Bernardo Pinto de Almeida and Laura Garrido e Caetano, the exhibition brings together 163 works and documents spanning more than five decades of artistic production, offering a broad reading of the work of Júlio / Saúl Dias and his ongoing search for dialogue between different forms of expression.
The initiative is part of the cultural programme of aMOSTr, taking place at the Centro de Memória between 10 and 14 June, reinforcing the dialogue between contemporary creation, independent publishing, and artistic heritage. The programme includes the Zine and Author Edition Fair, as well as the Book and Record Fair.
Participation in the guided tour is free, subject to prior registration.
