The National Arts Plans (Plano Nacional das Artes PNA)returns between September 2025 and March 2026 with Bienal Cultura Educação #2. The focus is again on artistic and cultural programming for and with children and youth. The initiative seeks to facilitate the circulation of projects, promote co-productions, and create a network associated with the Biennial.
For this 2nd edition, the overarching theme is the question: “E em Vez do Medo?”
“E em Vez do Medo?” is intended as a broad reflection on the many ways we face fear, as well as an exercise in exploring possibilities amid the paralysis of anxiety. It is a question for which almost all answers are valid, because any act of creation and vitality represents a first step of courage out of darkness.
“E em Vez do Medo?” is a silent manifesto that wants to be very loud, a ritual of rebirth. In the end, no civilization survives without learning to dance with its own shadows — transforming them into beacons, or at least, little lanterns to see by in the night.
Program:
10:00 AM – Cântico Negro – poetry and movement (various spaces in the Teatro Municipal)
10:30 AM – 7 Poets / 7 Musicians – performance and presentation of the Poetry Contest Awards (Salão Nobre)
All events are free of charge.
