On April 15, we will host an online session of "Coffee with Science – The Heroes of the Night: The Fascinating World of Bats", featuring Diogo F. Ferreira (U.Porto | CIBIO/InBIO).

Often misunderstood and surrounded by myths, bats are, in fact, fundamental pieces of nature. But what do we really know about these unique flying mammals? במסגרת the International Bat Appreciation Day, this session of Coffee with Science invites you to explore the fascinating way of life of these animals. Through an engaging and informal conversation, CMIA Vila do Conde and CIIMAR aim to dispel misconceptions and reveal why bat conservation is essential for environmental balance.

The "Coffee with Science" sessions are organized by CIIMAR, in partnership with CMIA Matosinhos and CMIA Vila do Conde.

These seminars are recorded so that the session can later be published on institutional channels for wider dissemination to the general public.
