December begins in Vila do Conde with one of the most emblematic musical moments of season: the Christmas Concert by the Orfeão do Círculo Católico de Operários de Vila do Conde (vila do Conde Catholic Worker´s Circle Choir). Under the artistic direction of Maestro Samuel Santos, the choir presents a program specially designed to celebrate the arrival of this festive season, bringing together traditional and contemporary works that evoque the spirituality, sharing, and beauty of Christmas.

The concert will take place on December 1st at 9:30 pm, in the Church of Nossa Senhora do Desterro, a space that, due to its atmosphere and excellent acoustics, provides an ideal environment for the enjoyment of choral music. This event, already deeply rooted in the cultural life of the municipality, stands out not only for the interpretive quality of the Orfeão, but also for its ability to bring the community together around the values and spirit of Christmas.
