Planet Earth hosts a spectacular diversity of animals, each with unique traits, sizes, and curiosities, and this will be our starting point. We will sharpen our senses, roll up our sleeves, and dive into exploring animal diversity, along with their various characteristics and adaptations to their environments.

Whether in the city or the countryside, we live alongside countless species of plants and animals, which often go unnoticed. But with a little more attention—eyes to see and ears to listen—we can observe their unique and sometimes very unusual traits. In this activity, we will take a closer look at the humble—or perhaps not so humble—snail and learn more about its peculiar way of life.
