Joana Almeirante is a singer-songwriter from Porto.
She began her musical journey at the Jobra Music Conservatory, where she trained as a jazz instrumentalist. She later joined the band of the acclaimed Portuguese artist Miguel Araújo, with whom she continues to perform today. Her debut single, Bem me Quer, also became the theme song of the TVI television series of the same name.
In 2020, she released her first EP, featuring the singles Bem me Quer and Mera Ilusão, both of which became audience favourites. She later released her debut album, Leva-me pra Longe, which includes the standout track Dois Corações Partidos, featured in the television series Senhora do Mar.
At this concert, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the artist’s best-known songs, as well as new material from her forthcoming album, which is set to be released soon.
