On March 28 at 4:00 PM, Loja das Curtas will host the presentation of the book "Glossolalia", an artistic project by Joana Patrão and Tiago Madaleno that combines image, text, and editorial experimentation.
The book follows the eponymous exhibition held at the Escola das Artes, Universidade Católica do Porto, and develops a fiction centered on a couple in constant movement, searching for a sense of home. Inspired by the imagery of road movies and the durational dimension of video art, Glossolalia proposes a unique editorial object: a continuous book, without beginning or end, which can be explored in multiple directions.
Designed as a space of converging voices, the project includes contributions from Filipa Rosário with aphorisms, Madalena Folgado with visual poems, and the duo Sara&André, responsible for selecting quotations that interact with the authors’ images. The editorial design is by Atelier d'Alves.
The session will include the book presentation followed by a conversation with the authors and designer Sérgio Alves, open to the public. Admission is free.
