“Olhó Boneco!” Festival – 5th Anniversary

The “Olhó Boneco!” Festival celebrates its fifth anniversary with the theme “On the Move”.

For this special anniversary edition, the park surrounding the Vila do Conde Memory Centre becomes a meeting point and a travelling stage, welcoming companies that turn vehicles into their theatres and roads into their scenery.

From traditional wooden carts and converted vans to bicycles and even boats that travel on land, the festival celebrates the nomadic spirit of puppeteers. It is an invitation to rediscover the magic of puppetry through mobile stages that bring the art directly to the public, moving through gardens and unexpected corners.

Together with the audience, we celebrate five years of stories in motion, reaffirming Lafontana’s commitment to transforming public spaces into places of sharing, imagination and connection.
