The International Folklore Festival "Modivas Traditions of the World", organised by the Modivas Folk Group of Traditional Songs and Dances, will take place on 25 July 2026, at 9:00 p.m., in the Church Square of Modivas.
This festival celebrates the richness of folk traditions, fostering cultural exchange through the music, dance and customs of different peoples. In this edition, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy performances by the Modivas Folk Group of Traditional Songs and Dances, the São Salvador de Macieira da Maia Folk Group, and guest groups from Latvia, Bulgaria, Argentina, Italy and Colombia, offering a true journey through the traditions of the world.
