Organized by the Vila do Conde City Council, Pausa para um Capítulo is an intergenerational book club open to readers of all ages, promoting connections between generations through the sharing of stories and perspectives.

Held monthly, the sessions take place on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM at Vila Jovem. At each meeting, a previously selected book serves as the starting point for an informal, reflective, and enriching conversation about the themes explored in the work.

The next session will take place on March 18 at 7:00 PM at Vila Jovem, featuring the book Instinct by Ashley Audrain. This visceral and powerful psychological thriller invites readers to reflect on the complexities of motherhood, social expectations, and the weight of family legacy, exploring the limits of human instinct and the shadows that can inhabit even the deepest bonds.
