On 26 September, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, the 7th edition of “Desenhar Vila do Conde” will take place, this year under the theme “Human Landscapes — Julio’s Perspective”, with the support of Vila do Conde City Council.

Led by Marco Mendes, comic book artist, illustrator, visual artist and drawing lecturer at several higher education institutions, the initiative offers a day dedicated to observational drawing, inspired by Julio’s unique way of portraying the human figure. Throughout the day, participants will be invited to explore different areas of Vila do Conde and, through drawing, develop their own personal perspective on the people and surroundings around them.

“Desenhar Vila do Conde” is an opportunity to meet, share and discover the city through drawing, and is open to anyone who enjoys drawing, regardless of experience. Participants will be provided with paper, brushes, Indian ink and A3 and A4 drawing boards.
