The final chapter in the story of the witches of Oz, Elphaba and Glinda. Separated, they live with the consequences of their choices.

Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), demonized as the Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hidden in the forests of Oz, while she continues her fight for the freedom of Oz’s silenced animals and tries to expose the truth about the Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum).

Glinda, now the shining symbol of goodness throughout Oz, lives in the Emerald City palace and revels in fame and popularity.

Under Madame Morrible’s instructions, Glinda is sent to bring reassurance to Oz, assuring the masses that everything is fine under the Wizard’s rule.

As Glinda’s success grows and her marriage to Prince Fiyero is arranged, she becomes increasingly haunted by her separation from Elphaba. She attempts to mediate a reconciliation between Elphaba and the Wizard of Oz, but her efforts fail, driving them even further apart.

The consequences will change Boq and Fiyero forever and will endanger the safety of Nessarose, Elphaba’s sister, when a girl from Kansas suddenly bursts into their world…
