The Áshrama Vila do Conde Association will be holding free Yoga classes for students during the month of May at the José Régio Municipal Library, with the aim of helping to effectively reduce stress caused by the exam period, decrease anxiety, increase available energy to support long study hours, enhance attention, and improve concentration, among other benefits.
These classes are part of the national initiative “Yoga and Stress-Free Exams”, created in 2005 by the Portuguese Yoga Confederation, enabling students across the country to benefit from yoga practices and better manage the stress typically associated with exam periods.
In Vila do Conde, the initiative will take place in partnership with the Municipality of Vila do Conde and the Vila Jovem project, and will be held on Saturdays, on 9, 16, and 23 May, at the José Régio Municipal Library, at 5:00 PM. The sessions are scheduled at the end of the study day, allowing students to relax and recharge through yoga practice.
