This year, the Youth Service of the Municipality of Vila do Conde is promoting the second Environmental Workshops Programme, in partnership with the environmental association RE.UNE, with the aim of encouraging reuse and sustainability.

Held monthly at the Vila Jovem venue, these workshops combine creativity and hands-on activities, bringing the principles of the circular economy closer to participants' everyday lives.

The next workshop will take place on Saturday, 18 July, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Vila Jovem, located at the Municipal Youth Centre. The theme, "Maritime Villages", invites participants to explore the identity and heritage of coastal communities through the creation of decorative pieces and sustainable projects inspired by life by the sea.

The activity will promote the reuse of materials, environmental awareness and creative expression, while highlighting the strong connection between maritime traditions and sustainability.
