This book documents the artistic projects developed במסגרת the first cycle of the programme, which featured the participation of Daniel Moreira and Rita Castro Neves (2023), André Guedes (2024), and Susana Mendes Silva (2025).

Throughout the residencies, the artists developed processes of listening and contextual research, structured in two stages: an initial phase focused on engaging with local communities and understanding the territory, followed by a second phase dedicated to creation and artistic interventions. The projects took place across various locations in Vila do Conde, including the Azurara Shipyards, the Memory Centre, the parish of Vila Chã, the Mindelo Municipal Swimming Pools, Bento de Freitas Primary School, Bento de Freitas Avenue, and Júlio Graça Garden.

The programme also included critical guidance from António Guerreiro, Gabriela Vaz-Pinheiro, and Joana Valsassina, who contributed to the development of a written record of the interventions, expanding their interpretations and readings. Photographic documentation of the public presentations was carried out by Susana Neves and Renato Cruz Santos.
