Starting from musical instruments or everyday objects that participants are invited to bring to the workshop, this session explores sound through both external and internal sources of inspiration.

With the aim of fostering musical creativity, the workshop encourages attentive listening to the sounds that surround us, as well as the exploration of sounds emerging from imagination, in order to build a sonic catalogue and create a short piece within the limits of the materials available or chosen for use.

Clara Saleiro is a flutist focused on creative processes, electronic music, and improvisation. She regularly collaborates with orchestras, contemporary ensembles, and performing arts companies, premiering dozens of works each year. She is a founding member of projects such as Noviga Projekto and performs with groups including Vertixe Sonora and the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra. Trained at leading institutions in Portugal, London, and Austria, she specialised in contemporary music with Klangforum Wien.
