For Sheriff Ulysses, a temporary posting to the picturesque town of Normal, in the American Midwest, was meant to provide a welcome break from his marital problems and the emotional toll of recent experiences on duty. But when a failed bank robbery disrupts the town’s peaceful routine, a dark secret is inadvertently uncovered, and Ulysses soon discovers that the town is far from living up to its name.
