In this drama about memory, grief, and the fragility of life, Lithuanian filmmaker Šarūnas Bartas — also the director of Frost (2017) and In the Dusk (2019) — sets out for the coastal town of Ventanilla Lagoon, Mexico, where his eldest daughter, Ina Marija Bartaite, had been living before her death in April 2021, in Lithuania.

Accompanied by his younger daughter, Una Marija, he journeys not only through the place where Ina spent the final days of her life, but also through the intimate terrain of his own grief. As they encounter local residents, father and daughter come across small fragments that help reconstruct moments from her life.

Presented at the Venice International Film Festival, in the “Giornate degli Autori” section, the drama was also featured in the “Grandes Mestres” section of LEFFEST - Lisbon Film Festival, dedicated to acclaimed filmmakers.
