Inspired by the biblical dialogue between Jesus and the Samaritan woman, this Way of the Cross offers a moment of deep reflection and interiority, inviting participants to listen to the call “Give me a drink,” which continues to echo in the heart of humanity.

In a time often marked by the dryness of war, loneliness, and indifference, this staging seeks to highlight the importance of simple gestures capable of transforming people’s lives — listening, presence, forgiveness, care, and shared hope.

This event also carries a particular human and social significance, as it involves users of CARPD in a project that promotes inclusion, participation, and the recognition of the dignity of every person, through artistic expression and the lived experience of faith.

With this initiative, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila do Conde aims to offer the community a moment of encounter, silence, and reflection, where art, faith, and the human dimension come together along the path of the Cross.
