Places are inhabited, and it is there that we build memories, developing an emotional attachment by associating a place with emotions and feelings. This is what transforms a space into a place. Working with a territory does not simply mean responding to what has been proposed; it also means reshaping the way we see and share it, bringing us closer together and creating an emotional connection.
“The artistic process becomes a political practice of attention, refining our sensibilities so that we can imagine what we hold in common.” And I would add: so that we can imagine the future.
